M e e t ... B o o t s !
a. k. a. ... B o o t s i e - b o o

I was too young.

This is what I looked like when I arrived at the shelter!

Watch me grow!! :o)

I made myself right at home with my new foster family. I grew at a very rapid rate. I was a little sick when they first got me, and made one emergency trip to the vet. But I was stable in no time. I love to sit on top of the couch!

This is me after a bath.
I'm going to stay wrapped in this
towel for a while to dry.
I am not real fond of water, but what kitty is?
I was pretty good during my bath
and feel much cleaner.
Plus, I love to be brushed afterwards!!

I'm sitting on Mom & Dad's WebTV printer.
They are not fond of this, but
let me because I am so small & don't weigh much!
For some reason, I love to sit here!

I no longer have to be cradled to enjoy a bottle. In fact, I am eating soft food from a can, and occasionally some small hard kitten chow!!

Here I am with the bottle again.
I still like to be fed like this now and then.
Mom & Dad don't mind, because the special
kitten formula that they got from the
Animal Clinic is very good for me!
They know it won't be long before
I won't want it anymore.

For the most part, I was pretty healthy when I went to see the vet. I did have to be treated for some other things such as: earmites, roundworm, coccidia, & fleas. I was very good when my family gave me medications and cleaned my ears. They fixed me up and I am all better now!!

For the first few weeks, they kept me in a large dog carrier when they was at work. I got to be out when they was home. It was so comfy though, my litter fit inside and I got to sleep with a stuffed lion. It felt like my Mommy, so I snuggled up to it!

My new little home was comfortable and safe. About 1/3 of my doghouse had a covered heating pad that I could warm myself on...I loved it! I have everything I need in here including the "big kitty food" that I am learning to eat!

My family has tried and tried to keep me out of their fake flower arrangements...to no avail. I just can't help myself, they are so fun to lay in, sleep in, & play with. It must be the bright colors that I am attracted to! :o)

I have a brother named "Ringo" who has a story similar to mine. We took medications together. We also have a sister named "Snowflake"! Mom & Dad call us the "3 Muskateers"! We love to play together!

This is a fun toy. Mom and Dad put catnip on the top. It makes me a little woozy, but I love it! The mouse runs on batteries and goes around in circles. It is fun to chase!

I have discovered my claws, and this has become one of my favorite new toys. I love to scratch on it and chase the ball around and around. It is also a great place to sleep. Of course, I love to chase a string as well....always a lot of fun! You should see the 6 foot cat tree condo we got for Christmas! That is a blast to play on!! :o)

This is me and Daddy palying. He keeps spinning the ball around. I can play on this thing for hours. Mom & Dad have a great time watching me too!

I am getting a lot bigger now and am getting more streamlined! I have been playing all day long and have completely worn myself out. I am just going to stretch out on my favorite pillow and take a nap!! :o)

Mom and Dad think I have the cutest face in the world! I also have the loudest "meow" they have ever heard. You should hear me when I want something!! It's okay though, I also just happen to have a loud motor and love to sit on their laps and purrrrr!

I am such a silly kitty...just look at me! Yes, I know, I am very adorable. I have grown even bigger than this now, maybe I'll add some new pictures of myself soon!! *Meow!
